Favorite Friday: The Big Picture

I like browsing this website from The Big Picture – Boston.com.  Almost every day a new photo gallery is posted on a subject or topic about something going on in the world.  The photos are amazing and makes me wish I was out there photographing the world instead of here in New Jersey.

A gallery posted on April 6 was titled Flower Power.  One of my favorites from the series is the Cherry trees blooming in Washington, DC.  One of these days I will go to the National Cherry Blossom Festival.

Flowers play such a big part of our lives.  They’re at weddings, funerals, parties; given as gifts on first dates, housewarmings, and holidays; and symbols of Spring, life, friendship, and new beginnings.  And the colors!  They’re just so pretty.

To view the complete gallery, go here. You should.  It’s beautiful.  And look at the other galleries while you’re there.
