Project 365 2.0: October 14, 2012 | Day 319

The waterfalls at Ricketts Glen, PA were so pretty and breathtaking.  The 7 miles of trails we followed to see the 21 waterfalls was one of the hardest and longest trails I’ve ever done.  It was a lot of up and down as we climbed along the waterfalls and river.  There were stone steps along side in some of the inclines/declines that were supposed to make the climb/descent a little easier, but they just terrified me.  I was always afraid one step was going to slip out and I’d go tumbling down.  I ended up so tense for those 5 hours that the top of my legs were so sore the next day.  But I did it!  I finished the entire hike and saw beautiful waterfalls with amazing Fall scenery, and I would definitely do it again.
