Project 365 2.0: July 22, 2012 | Day 235

For some reason I had this urge to make frozen bananas.  I’ve never made them before and the last time I had any was at the NY Renaissance Faire last September.  They were really good, though I did use the wrong kind of chocolate.  I used chocolate syrup which didn’t freeze well at all.  That’s okay.  My treat still made me happy.

    Try sticking toothpicks in them and freezing them first. Then get the microwavable chocolates usually found near the fresh strawberries in the supermarket. When you dip the banana in the melted chocolate it should harden almost instantly.
