Project 365 2.0: April 18, 2012 | Day 140

This is the New York City skyline as seen from a boat off the coast of Sandy Hook. For my oceanography class, we took a boat ride out in the water to look at animals, fish, crabs, shrimp, shells, snails, worms, and other really interesting creatures. We also caught a skate (in the family of stingrays and sharks). That guy was my favorite. And I am so sad that this class is ending in 2 weeks. There is a marine biology course that I want to take, but future classes will not be held at Sandy Hook anymore due to conflicts between Sandy Hook, Rutgers/Brookdale, and the government. It's all very sad it has to come to an end since Rutgers/Brookdale have been holding classes at Sandy Hook since 1971. I am very glad though I had this opportunity.
