Project 365 2.0: March 24, 2012 | Day 115

After many years of visiting family in the Outer Banks of NC, my family has quite the extensive seashell collection, my mom especially. She has jars, vases, containers, plastic bags, buckets, and piles of shells scattered all over the apartment, in every room and in every corner. That random plastic bag sitting in the corner? Those are shells. And most likely each container is sorted out by type and/or size. There's a pile of clam shells stacked up next to the DVDs, a little shell decorating the bathroom sink, one as a magnet on the refrigerator, on the dresser holding items. Seashells and the beach have always been a part of my life in some way.
